Some Background

Since I was in grade school I've had a creative drive that usually surpassed the need to do my school work. Creative ideas came pretty quickly. Later I learned how to organize my priorities and supplies in order to better accomplish my goals. Art is an ever elastic form, it seems the tenacity of the artist is what defines it, not what is produced at the moment but rather what is produced over the artist's lifetime.

I started as a freelance artist at a young age for my grade school teachers and friends. I did small projects to holiday window paintings for the school buildings. I graduated from the Art Instructions School of Minnesota, an at home course but it didn't have any software programs. Next I enrolled into the Art Institute of Portland Oregon but had to come home from Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer treatments, then I went to Moscow School of Massage therapy in Idaho, then went back to school at The Art Institute of Phoenix in Arizona, a major debt. I am glad I finished, I learned more from the teachers there than I ever would have on my own but the cost wasn't worth it financially. There isn't enough market demand for that many students graduating.

While attending I also met my husband. He is a fellow artist as well and a great friend and father to our children. Currently I am still a freelance artist and a stay at home mom.

I look forward to creating more art and we have many blessings to be thankful for!
